Country Estate near Berlin

Im Livinglab haben einige hundert Menschen mit uns gelebt und mitgewirkt - für Wochen, Monate und Jahre. Wir renovieren, restaurieren und bauen vieles selber. Und wir haben verschiedene Infrastrukturprojekte für die Region initiiert und durchgeführt. Das Lab hat einen wesentlichen Anteil an der lebendigen Atmosphäre des Ortes.

Auf dem Land haben sich die Räume zur Entfaltung aufgetan, die uns in den Metropolen verschlossen wurden. Urbane und regionale Kompetenz können hier gemeinsam neue Formen von ländlichem Zusammensein und -wirken erproben.
 
Regionale Kulturen mit ihrer starken Verbindung vonLand & Selbstversorgung & gesundem Leben, vonDorf & Selbstverwirksamkeit & lebendiger Gemeinschaft sind eine ideale Blaupause für alternative, resiliente und soziale Lebensstile.

Community: Develop projects together

We became aware of how closely Gut and Lab complement each other during the vacancy development project. We have transferred many of our experiences in the collaborative renovation of our own property (e.g. the roof) to the development of other historical and identity-creating buildings.

Culture: Open Art Lausitz Festival

Over four weekends, four towns and districts in southern Brandenburg came together to form a new art festival. Charming places, empty barns and colourful meadows become temporary art spaces and are used by regional and international artists.

Nature: Circulatory Systems and Ecology

Circulation systems are based on how “natural” wealth is created in nature. That is why regenerative resources are used in circular systems or a circular economy and the so-called “waste products” are ideally completely recycled. Such a circular system is now in the funding process for Drahnsdorf, and a sustainability center designed as an “Earthship” is also to be created.
